MYF 17/5 Meeting - Leadership training

During that night meeting, pastor ben used a difference way to bring out the leadership training - PLAY GAME.

It seems like everyone has had a good time. And the conclusion of the game is, when something goes wrong, BLAME yourself first before pin point the persons beside you. Ha ha. Is my fault!

Ten Guidelines From God

1. Quit worrying: Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here to take all your burdens and carry them for you? Alternatively, do you just enjoy fretting over every little thing that comes your way?

2. Put it on the list: Something needs done or taken care of. Put it on the list. No, not your list. Put it on my to-do-list. Let me be the one to take care of the problem. I cannot help you until you turn it over to me. Moreover, although My to-do-list is long, I am after all... God. I can take care of anything you put into My hands. In fact, if the truth were ever really known, I take care of many things for you that you never even realize.

3. Trust me: Once you have given your burdens to me, quit trying to take them back. Trust in me. Have the faith that I will take care of all your needs, your problems and your trials. Problems with the kids? Put them on my list. Problem with finances? Put it on My list. Problems with your emotional roller coaster? For my sake, put it on my list. I want to help you. All you have to do is ask.

4. Leave it alone: Do not wake up one morning and say, "Well, I'm feeling much stronger now; I think I can handle it from here." Why do you think you are feeling stronger now? It is simple. You gave Me your burdens and I am taking care of them. I also renew your strength and cover you in my peace. Don't you know that if I give you these problems back, you will be right back where you started? Leave them with me and forget about them. Just let me do my job.

5. Talk to me:I want you to forget many things. Forget what was making you crazy. Forget the worry and the fretting because you know I am in control. Nevertheless, there is one thing I pray you never forget. Please, do not forget to talk to me - OFTEN! I love you! I want to hear your voice. I want you to include me in on the things going on in your life. I want to hear you talk about your friends and family. Prayer is simply you having a conversation with Me. I want to be your dearest friend.

6. Have faith:I see many things from up here that you cannot see from where you are. Have faith in Me that I know what I am doing. Trust me; you would not want the view from my eyes. I will continue to care for you, watch over you, and meet your needs. You only have to trust me. Although I have a much bigger task than you do, it seems as if you have so much trouble just doing your simple part. How hard can trust be?

7. Share:You were taught to share when you were only two years old. When did you forget? That rule still applies. Share with those who are less fortunate than you are. Share your joy with Those who need encouragement. Share your laughter with those who have not heard any in such a long time. Share your tears with those who have forgotten how to cry. Share your faith with those who have none.

8. Be patient:I managed to fix it so in just one lifetime you could have so many diverse experiences. You grow from a child to an adult, have children, change jobs many times, learn many trades, travel to so many places, meet thousands of people, and experience so much. How can you be so impatient then when it takes Me a little longer than you expect to handle something on my to-do-list? Trust in my timing, for my timing is perfect. Just because I created the entire universe in only six days, everyone thinks I should always rush, rush, and rush.

9. Be kind:Be kind to others, for I love them just as much as I love you. They may not dress like you, or talk like you, or live the same way you do, but I still love you all. Please try to get along, for my sake. I created each of you different in some way. It would be too boring if you were all identical. Please, know I love each of your differences.

10. Love yourself:As much as I love you, how can you not love yourself? I created you for one reason only -- to be loved, and to love in return. I am a God of Love. Love Me. Love your neighbours. Also, love yourself. It makes My heart ache when I see you so angry with yourself when things go wrong. You are very precious to me. Do not ever forget...

WHEN GOD PUTS YOU ON HOLD

Many thanks to Shiro's sharing last Saturday :) There are alot of truth in it about our comparison attitude. It is a good reminder that God made each one of us special in our own ways and there is no reason for us to compare with another. I got this article from a friend this morning. Enjoy reading and blessed week ahead! :D


If you're a seasoned air traveler, chances are you're familiar with the term "holding pattern."

That's when your plane is unable to land because of unfavorable ground conditions. Generally the pilot announces that he's been told to maintain a holding pattern pending an update from the control tower.
It happens regularly, so planes have to carry enough fuel to stay airborne till they can land safely.

The Bible says, "Wait for the Lord; be strong...let your heart take courage."

When God puts you in a holding pattern it's not just a question of having enough faith to receive His promise, it's also a matter of having enough "spiritual staying power" to stay airborne until it comes to pass. That's why you need to carry enough spiritual fuel to handle delays and wait for clearance.The Bible refers to the Holy Spirit, "a rushing mighty wind" (Acts 2:2). After God had delayed Noah long enough to accomplish His purpose, "He sent a wind" (Gen 8:1 NIV).

Anytime a wind comes from the presence of God it blows away all hindrances and obstacles, it dries the ground under your feet so you can move ahead. It demolishes the spirit of fear and heaviness that makes you want to quit.
David asked God, "What is man that you are mindful of him?" (Ps 8:4 NIV). Even in times of frustration and waiting, God is still thinking about you and working everything out for your good.

His delays aren't denials.

So, when you sense a divine breeze in your spirit, rejoice. It's a sign that He's clearing you to land and good things are about to happen!

比来比去？

比上不足

有時我们生活在一个充满比较的世界，有时是自己要跟别人比，但是怎么比都比不上别人，越比就越气，觉得上帝厚此薄彼，待我真不公平。有时并不是自己要刻意去比，但是别人硬要跟我比，又或者父母师长拿我跟别人比，我实在是身不由己。

为何比较？

你喜欢跟别人比较吗？为什么？比较过后若发现自己比别人棒，你会有什么感想？你会自此充满信心还是充满骄傲？若发现自己不如人呢？你会自卑还是会妒忌？

其实只有对自己、对神没有足够认识的人，才会在乎跟别人比较，以测试自己的程度到哪里，借着看自己是否比别人棒来建立自己的信心。这样的信心，一不小心会演变成骄傲，但是这种所谓的信心，却肯定是脆弱的。因为当有个比自己棒的人出现时，他马上受打击，感到自卑，甚至在一夜之间酝酿成妒忌。

骄傲、自卑或妒忌，都是心灵的毒素，会侵蚀生命，叫人停滞不前，甚至因此无法释放自己，更无法经历真正的喜乐。

比下有余

当你比别人优胜时，你是否会因此得意忘形，甚至自高自大？比下有余，是否真的如此值得洋洋得意呢？ 其实，若你知道赐你恩赐和长处的是神，你就应当明白自己即使拥有再好的东西，也没什么值得自夸自耀。

神赐你长处优点，其实是盼望你善用祂给你的资源去祝福他人。 你不妨学习：即使你很有本领，仍要以体谅和接纳的态度帮助软弱或有缺憾的人。

只和自己比

在上帝的眼中，每个人都是独特的。神给予每个人不同的天赋潜质，在群体中各事其职，相辅相成，因此我们根本不需与他人比较。
他人的长处，虽然可能是我们的短处，但我们也可能有某些长处，又是他人所没有的。

上帝给我们不同的才干，对我们也有特定的期望，我们应该朝个别的目标努力。 如果要比较的话，最好和自己比：我是否有尽全力把神给我的天赋用以祝福他人？我是否有献上最好的？若都能做到，便算是无亏欠了。

How to Know God Personally?

How to Know God Personally.....?
What does it take to begin a relationship with God? Devote yourself to unselfish religious deeds? Become a better person so that God will accept you?
You may be surprised that none of those things will work. But God has made it very clear in the Bible how we can know Him.
The following principles will explain how you can personally begin a relationship with God, right now...

Principle 1:
God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life.
God's Love"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." 1
God's Plan[Christ speaking] "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly" [that it might be full and meaningful]. 2
Why is it that most people are not experiencing the abundant life? Because...

Principle 2:
All of us sin and our sin has separated us from God.
We Are Sinful"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." 3
We were created to have fellowship with God; but, because of our stubborn self-will, we chose to go our own independent way, and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is evidence of what the Bible calls sin.
We Are Separated"The wages of sin is death" [spiritual separation from God]. 4
This diagram illustrates that God is holy and people are sinful. A great gulf separates us. The arrows illustrate that we are continually trying to reach God and the abundant life through our own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion -- but we inevitably fail.
The third law explains the only way to bridge this gulf...

Principle 3:
Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through Him we can know and experience God's love and plan for our life.
He Died in Our Place"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." 5
He Rose From the Dead"Christ died for our sins...He was buried...He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures...He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred..." 6
He Is the Only Way to God"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.'" 7
This diagram illustrates that God has bridged the gulf which separates us from Him by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins.
It is not enough just to know these three principles...

Principle 4:
We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.
We Must Receive Christ"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name." 8
We Receive Christ Through Faith"By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast." 9
When We Receive Christ, We Experience a New Birth
We Receive Christ by Personal Invitation[Christ speaking] "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him." 10
Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. You receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.

怎么办？

「耶和华赐人智能，知识和聪明都由他口而出。」 （箴言2章6节）


友人翠丝塔正为该不该换车而苦恼：是继续修那辆老爷车？还是买辆新车？她想做个金钱的好管家，也希望做明智的决定。最重要的是，她希望能荣耀上帝。
金钱上的事很难决定。布道家葛理翰曾说过：「一个人对金钱的态度若能义无反顾，在人生其它方面也能畅行无阻。」

以下几点是对待金钱应有的智慧：
认真查验你是否遵从上帝的优先级。有没有奉献给上帝或帮助他人（哥林多前书16章2节）？有没有顾念家庭需要（提摩太前书5章8节）？有没有让金钱控制你 （路加福音16章13节）？
分析主要的事。考虑各种选择以及它们的正反两面。

求上帝赐智慧。祷告、祷告、再祷告，他必引导你（箴言2章6节）。
相信上帝，再做决定。善用你的知识和智能，并将你的决定交在他的手中。
顺服上帝能让我们更深爱他、信靠他。而最重要的是，我们能把每个决定都看作是亲近他的机会。


有时进退维谷，左右都是为难；求主助你选择，他会指引方向。

上星期五，28/3 开始了第一次的小组。虽然人数不多（四人而已），但在小组中学习到很多东西。这次小组的内容大多数是分享和代祷。感谢主让我们有机会一起来敬拜和赞美祂!

喜乐泉源

「似乎忧愁，却是常常快乐的；似乎贫穷，却是叫许多人富足的；似乎一无所有，却是样样都有的。」(哥林多后书6章10节)

17世纪德国有位牧师，名叫葛哈特。他比谁都更有理由不快乐。他的一生，爱妻身亡、四个子女丧命；经过三十年战争蹂躏的德国，处处满目疮痍；教会冲突、政治干预，让他一生都厄运连连。然而在这百般苦难之中，他却写出了130多首诗歌，而大部份的主题竟然是喜乐，以及对耶稣基督的热爱。其中一首「圣灵为我喜乐泉源」，诗中有段歌词是这么说的：真神之爱，浩瀚无边；化作春雨，降临人间；何等宝贝，滋润心田；超乎想像，最大恩典；听我心曲，由衷恳求；艰难之中，释我心怀；来到圣所，全然安息；圣灵为我，喜乐泉源。既然圣灵将上帝丰富的爱浇灌在我们心里(罗马书5章5节) ，那我们在任何景况下，岂不是都能体会上帝所赐的喜乐吗？在极度的困苦之中，使徒保罗这样描述自己的体会：「似乎忧愁，却是常常快乐的；似乎贫穷，却是叫许多人富足的；似乎一无所有，却是样样都有的」(哥林多后书6章10节) 。痛苦和忧伤都是人生不可避免的。然而圣灵是我们喜乐的泉源，他会带来「何等宝贝，滋润心田，超乎想像，最大恩典」。

快乐靠人；喜乐靠神。

一、创造天地
1.感谢神创造天地，宇宙何其美丽奇妙，有无穷的奥秘。
2.感谢神创造海洋，巨浪拍天是颂扬你的伟大；平静安憩是体现你的温柔。

18.感谢神的忍耐，救恩的福音在伟大的忍耐中加紧传扬。

三、圣经
21.感谢神的圣经，让我们知道天地万物的创造主是耶和华神。
22.感谢神的圣经，让我们知道人类的悖逆和堕落。
23.感谢神的圣经，让我们知道神公义审判和救恩的早已预备。
24.感谢神的圣经，让我们知道神的子民颠沛流离之时，神信实地带领他们进入应许之地。
25.感谢神的圣经，让我们知道神的子民一次次的背叛，神忍耐地差遣先知一次次的呼唤。
26.感谢神的圣经，让我们知道罪恶终于招致亡国的代价，但神应许了弥赛亚。
27.感谢神的圣经，让我们知道耶稣基督道成肉身，拯救自己的百姓。
28.感谢神的圣经，让我们知道基督的身体——教会，仍在地上等候基督的再临。
29.感谢神的圣经，让我们知道神的百姓都应当将天国的福音广传，完成主的大使命。
30.感谢神的圣经，让我们知道基督必定再临，圣徒与主永远同在。


四、神的救恩
31.感谢神的救恩，因为人已经全然败坏，罪蔓延到人的每一部分――思维、情感和意志，罪延及到全人。
32.感谢神的救恩，神按他旨意所拣选人的人，并不是基于被选之人的德行，也不是基于他对此人接受福音的预知，完全是基于他自己的旨意，使一些人得荣耀，使一些人被定罪。
33.感谢神的救恩，基督特特地为无形的教会，为那些真正称得上是基督徒的人死。
34.感谢神的救恩，基督的福音会通过圣灵内在的恩惠的呼召，穿过我们刚硬的为罪所充满的心灵，奇妙地使我们得救，这对上帝的选民是一个极大的安慰。
35.感谢神的救恩，上帝所救赎的圣徒会一直处于上帝的保守之中，直到他们得荣耀，在天上与他同在。
36.感谢神的救恩，得救之人当存更加感恩的心，知道自己和世人一样不配。
37.感谢神的救恩，得救之人当知道救恩完全是神的恩典，救恩是最大的恩典。
38.感谢神的救恩，得救之人当感念基督是为我们而死。

五、耶稣
41.感谢耶稣道成肉身、降世为人，本有神的形象，不以自己与神同等为强夺的。反倒虚己，取了奴仆的形像，成为人的样式。
42.感谢耶稣在世三年，到处奔走，引人悔改，传播天国的福音。
43.感谢耶稣拣选门徒，为教会留下传承的柱石。
44.感谢耶稣耐心教导门徒和各样人物的问题，将天国的信息明明地留在世间。
45.感谢耶稣为耶路撒冷城祷告，神对子民永不改变的爱就在此显明了。
46.感谢耶稣忍受无尽痛苦，存心顺服，以至于死，且死在十字架上，战胜了死亡的权势。
47.感谢耶稣复活升天，升为至高，成为基督徒永恒的盼望。
48.感谢耶稣差遣保惠师与圣徒同在，引人归向主。
49.感谢耶稣恒久地在父神的右边为圣徒祷告，使圣徒承受上帝的恩惠。
50.感谢耶稣必要再次荣耀降临，那时圣徒被提，与主同在，不信的受永火的刑罚。


六、教会
51.感谢神亲自为教会拣选了传承的使徒，不因彼得的软弱而放弃，不因保罗的顽梗而不用。
52.感谢神让初期教会在大逼迫中能够顽强生存，并能化整为零，将福音传到其他地区。
53.感谢神使教会赢得了崇高的地位，利用君王的手，将福音传遍罗马帝国的每一片土地。
54.感谢神为每一时期的教会预备忠心良善的仆人，与形形色色的异端异教争战，在争战中将神的话语阐述得更加明白。
55.感谢神在教会腐化堕落的时候，兴起勇敢智慧的工人，回归圣经，因信称义，宗教改革的思想影响社会的方方面面。
56.感谢神使教会在教义成熟严谨的同时，也发动信仰的大复兴，不但已得之地火热，更使他们热心于海外未得之地的传教。
57.感谢神在各个长期被异教迷信占据的国家，作感动、引导的工作，使信主人数不断加添。
58.感谢神当逼迫临到这些弱小的教会、起先少数的基督徒时，与他们同在，赐力量使他们站立得住，让他们为福音作出了美好见证。
59.感谢神作奇妙的工作，在看似沉寂的国家，掀起福音的浪潮，使教会一天天壮大。
60.感谢神在撒旦和他的仆役趁机搅乱迷惑的时候，赐予教会慎思明辨的智慧，保守教会不被异端异教之风摇动。


七、神的仆人
61.感谢神赐下忠心的仆人，为天国的福音，不畏艰险，开疆拓土。
62.感谢神赐下勇敢的仆人，为神的道拯臂疾呼，贬斥罪恶。
63.感谢神赐下智慧的仆人，研读圣经，精心教导，将神的话语讲清辨明。
64.感谢神赐下温柔的仆人，温柔地抚慰神百姓的忧伤，将神的恩典带到百姓心中。
65.感谢神赐下祷告的仆人，为神的国度、为教会、为圣徒昼夜不停，切切祷告。
66.感谢神赐下服侍的仆人，勤勉做工，尽职尽责服事教会、服事圣徒，也为了神的名，服事社会。67.感谢神赐下谦卑的仆人，效法基督，谦卑虚己，使人在他身上看到耶稣基督的样式。
68.感谢神赐下使人和睦的仆人，他就像调和的油，又像芳香的香膏，所到之处，使人和睦，使人相爱。
69.感谢神赐下受苦的仆人，不因患难而跌倒，忍耐到底，用美好的见证来荣耀神的名。
70.感谢神赐下牺牲的仆人，为了主的名，欢喜受辱，为了神的道，勇敢牺牲，作那牺牲的种子，结出百倍千倍的果子。


八、传福音
71.感谢神的宽容，主所应许的尚未成就，并不是耽延，乃是宽容，因为神不愿有一人沈沦，乃愿人人都悔改。
72.感谢神的大使命，吩咐门徒将福音传遍地极，使得外邦人也有了听闻福音的机会。
73.感谢神恩典，不断地勉励教会、勉励仆人、勉励信徒，开疆拓土，到未得之地传福音。
74.感谢神透过圣经的教导，使信徒切切地为未信的家人、朋友和所有人祷告。
75.感谢神的引领，使得在陌生国家陌生地区宣教的仆人，可以行在神的旨意中，不偏左右。
76.感谢神的保守，使身在异国异乡的宣教士能够不陷入试探，避开撒旦的网络。
77.感谢神的智慧，使得在外的宣教士能够适应不同的语言、文化、习俗，能够与服侍之地的人民和睦相处。
78.感谢神慈爱，使立志宣教的仆人有健壮的身体、过人的智慧，能有力地传播天国的福音。
79.感谢神的眷顾，使在外宣教的工人也有一个安定幸福的家庭作坚实的后盾。
80.感谢神的恩惠，使得救的人数天天加添，教会天天壮大。


九、对信徒的慈爱
81.感谢神的慈爱，医治信徒的身体疾病，将信徒从肉体的痛苦中拯救出来，赐给他们健康和尊严。82.感谢神的慈爱，医治信徒精神的疾病，将信徒从因为生活的患难、因为撒旦的攻击、因为遗传或是其他因素造成的精神疾患中拯救出来，使神的名得到荣耀。
83.感谢神的慈爱，当信徒悲伤的时候，与哀哭的人同哭，了解同情怜悯信徒的痛苦，是信徒哀伤中的安慰。
84.感谢神的慈爱，当信徒遇到危险时，是最坚定的朋友，从不抛弃，也不撇下，是信徒随时的帮助。85.感谢神的慈爱，当信徒丧失亲人之时，抚慰悲伤的心，告诉信徒，神是掌管生命的神，耶稣已经复活。
86.感谢神的慈爱，当信徒与所爱之人分离之时，是信徒永不离开的朋友，也为爱人们成全重逢的机会。
87.感谢神的慈爱，当隐秘的话语，对任何人都不知如何诉说，连对自己都不知如何表达之时，耶稣了解一切，知道信徒内心所有的需要，耶稣也照顾一切。
88.感谢神的慈爱，当信徒祷告之时，神细细地垂听，合神心意的神必成就，不合神心意的，因着爱的缘故，神没有答应，那没有答应的是多么宝贵的恩典，是对信徒最大的爱护。
89.感谢神的慈爱，当信徒快乐之时，神的心也一同喜悦，神要信徒常常喜乐，神赐给信徒的是自由和释放，是喜乐和平安。
90.感谢神的慈爱，当信徒犯罪之时，神忧伤地提醒：当远离罪恶，撒旦正在四处游走，寻找可吞吃的人。神也必保守信徒，直到见天父那一刻。


十、我的感谢
91.感谢神创造了我，虽然也曾一次次地困惑于生命的价值，但是神的创造是为了要赐下他的恩典。92.感谢神将救恩的恩典赐给我，我不比别人好，也不比别人强，但是这最大的恩典白白地临到我。93.感谢神，虽然出生在中国这样历史上异教盛行、现实中无神论掌权的国家，但是还是有听到福音的机会。
94.感谢神，让我在教会中认识了很多真心爱主的弟兄姊妹，也赐给我服事的机会，使我在教会中更加的认识福音。
95.感谢神，让我既不是很富有也不是很贫穷，很富有会骄傲，很贫穷会丧失志气。
96.感谢神赐给我健康，不生病不知道健康的宝贵，生病了才知道健康也是恩典，是神的保守。
97.感谢神在聚会的时候让我得着恩典，让教会的聚会不成为形式上的需要，而是心灵渴慕的需要。98.感谢神让我遇到许多善良可敬的人，从他们的爱主和谦卑上，看到了我自己必须改进的地方。99.感谢神使我能够看到很多好书，让我即使不能亲耳聆听到这些属灵伟人的教导，也能从他们的著作中更多地认识神。
100.感谢神让我得到爱和帮助，并且在引领我一步步明白神在我身上的旨意。
